It's an exciting day--the first volume of my friend Cat Andrews's epic tale Sanctuary is FINALLY available today! This is one of my all-time favourite Austen fanfic (JAFF) stories--I read it online years ago, and it's been a story I continually come back to whenever I need a pick-me-up. (Literally, I've lost count how many times I've reread this story.) I love it so much, and I was so excited to edit it! Cat has such a great voice, and her characters and her setting are so vividly drawn and real.

This is a loose modern Pride & Prejudice adaptation, with a widowed Will Darcy moving to a small island in Maine with his young, adorable son (even if you don't like kids in books, Jack Darcy will win you over--promise) and meets Elizabeth Bennet, who's recovering from her own past. The chemistry between them is , and this first book (of three) is all about their relationship unfolding. The following two books will be along in the next few weeks (watch this space), but Volume 1 is now in ebook, paperback, and on KU!
