Dance the Tide is a much-beloved modern Pride and Prejudice-inspired story that takes place on Cape Cod. (It was an online fanfic that's since been revised and updated.) Will Darcy makes a very bad first impression on Elizabeth Bennet when they meet on a beach, and later get thrown together by his friend Charles and her sister Jane. Intrigued by Elizabeth, Will quickly fixes that first impression and sets out to charm her. He does, but his own unresolved issues—and an unknown influence—drive a wedge between them in their fledgling relationship.
Cat's known for her true-to-life characters, the intimacy she creates between her MCs, and angst! She cranks the angst up in this one, but that's balanced out by the beautiful characterization and Will and Elizabeth's connection. Check it out on Amazon and KU!
