This is an Austen variation/romance/murder mystery, and this book is special to me because parts of it were inspired by a trip Heather and I took to Derbyshire in 2019 because we are HUGE Austen nerds and wanted to tour all the places that Elizabeth did in Pride and Prejudice. (Don't worry, no murders were committed on the trip.) Dovedale and well-dressings (a Derbyshire tradition) feature prominently here because we were charmed by both.

When Elizabeth ends up an unexpected guest at Pemberley, she and Darcy separately wonder if they find each other's good opinion again. A murder occurs at the estate in the middle of other tragedy, and Darcy and Elizabeth have to work together to discover the murderer and find justice--and fall in love at the same time.
