You Spin Me by Karen Grey

you spin me cover

How perfectly 80s is this cover for Karen Grey’s latest in her 1980s-set Boston Classics series, You Spin Me?
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Actress/dancer Jessica is feeling her age in her profession, and her confidence is shaken when she feels she can no longer rely on her carefully maintained looks and body to win roles.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Radio DJ Cal has scars, physical and emotional, after a traumatic childhood accident. He never lets anyone get too close, but when a sweet-voiced listener calls to thank him for keeping her awake on the drive home from an acting job one night, he can't help but want to know more about her.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Cal and Jess get to know each other over the phone, but when it comes to meeting, both are scared that they'll disappoint in real life. Can they both let down their guard enough to let the other one in?
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Karen gives Cal and Jess such depth in their backstories and shows how they have to wade through their past and the stories they tell themselves to start a new story with an HEA together. It's my fave of Karen's books so far (and I've loved all of them, so that's saying something!)--you will love Cal and Jess!

You Spin Me is out on Amazon and KU now!
